Second China-ASEAN International Competition on Water Resources and Electric Power 2024

The competition aims to promote high-quality development in vocational education, build a talented team in water and power, and enhance cooperation among universities in China and ASEAN countries in these fields.

Contestants must be students from higher education institutions or vocational colleges in countries along the “Belt and Road,” including Malaysia, Cambodia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Laos, as well as domestic institutions in China.

The competition consists of two main events: an original promotional poster design and a water and power knowledge quiz.

Each team must consist of three contestants, including one team leader, and one faculty member as the instructor.

  • Registration Deadline: November 18, 2024
  • There are no registration fees. Teams must fill out the registration form and submit it with 2-3 group photos via the specified method.
  • Theme: “Promoting Peace through Water, Protecting Water Resources”
  • Size: A3 (landscape or portrait)
  • Format: Hand-drawn or digital, submitted as a JPG file with a minimum longest edge of 5000 pixels.
  • Creation Explanation: A written description of 300-500 words explaining the design concept must be included.

The Water and Power Knowledge Quiz will take place on December 7, 2024, on an online platform.

The final score for each team will be calculated as follows: (Promotional Poster Score × 50%) + (Average Score of Water and Power Knowledge Quiz × 50%). Awards will be given for first, second, and third places, along with a certificate for the “Outstanding Instructor.”
