On 5 August 2025, the International Cultural Communication Center Malaysia (ICCCM), as the main secretariat of ITEA, successfully hosted an international women empowerment dialogue titled “Voices of Womanhood: Embracing All Journeys.”
The event featured five distinguished keynote speakers from across Asia and Africa, each delivering powerful insights on leadership, inequality, health, and inclusive policy:
1. Dr. Syazana Abdullah Lim (Universiti Teknologi Brunei – Why Women’s Voices Matter in Leadership)
2. Dr. Mustafina Altynay (Kazakh State Women’s Pedagogical University – The Cost of Inequality: Work, Money, and Women’s Time)
3. Dr. Mahfuzah Binti Mohaidin (Centre for Women Advancement & Leadership (CWAL) – Advancing Equity, Influence & Impact)
4. Dr. Faith C. Namanga (Public Policy Professionals Society of Kenya – Power in Her Voice: Why Women’s Leadership Transforms Policy and Society)
5. Prof. Hanifa Maher Denny, PhD (Universitas Diponegoro (Indonesia) – Women’s Health and Wellbeing)
A dynamic panel discussion followed, moderated by Ms. Zéré Abdullah (Seifullin University) with commentary by Dr. Eva Handriyantini (Universitas Bhinneka Nusantara).
The forum highlighted gender diversity as a catalyst for innovation, inclusion, and societal progress — reaffirming that women’s leadership is essential to shaping stronger policies and a more equitable future.
