On 17 April, successfully hosted the Malaysia–China “Chinese Language + Vocational Skills” Training Signing, Inauguration, and Opening Ceremony between Dali Nursing Vocational College and Universiti Selangor (UNISEL), marking a significant milestone in advancing Malaysia–China educational collaboration and international talent development.
The online inaugural ceremony brought together distinguished leaders, academic representatives, lecturers, and students from both institutions to celebrate the launch of this meaningful initiative aimed at strengthening language education, vocational skills development, and global academic cooperation.
Representing Dali Nursing Vocational College were President Mr. Shi Longfu, Vice President Mr. Zi Lipeng, Vice President Mr. Guo Xiangzhou, Vice President Ms. Li Jie, together with department directors, academic leaders, and faculty representatives. Representing Universiti Selangor (UNISEL) were Vice Chancellor Prof. Emeritus Ir. Dato’ Dr. Hassan bin Basri, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Mr. Mohd Sharikh Dali bin Mahad, Director of International Office Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hashimah binti Ismail, Lecturer of Diploma in Nursing Programme Mrs. Khairul Mazzura binti Mansor, along with other UNISEL staff members.
During the ceremony, both institutions also introduced the upcoming training programme, which will focus on Health Assessment for UNISEL students. The training will be conducted by five instructors from Dali Nursing Vocational College, namely Mr. Bi Yutao, Mr. Guo Taibing, Mr. Shi Jiwen, Mr. Li Yuan, and Mr. Jin Xu. The programme will consist of five sessions with a total duration of 10 training hours.
This collaboration reflects a shared commitment toward enhancing international education, strengthening academic exchange between Malaysia and China, and equipping students with both language proficiency and professional competencies in an increasingly globalised environment.
