On 14 September 2026, Ms Nicy Bai, Secretary-General of the International Transnational Education Association (ITEA) and Chairman of the International Cultural Communication Center Malaysia (ICCCM), visited the Consulate General of Spain in Chengdu.
Ms Nicy Bai had the pleasure of meeting Mr Cándido Creis Estrada, Consul General of Spain in Chengdu.
The meeting provided an opportunity to introduce ITEA and ICCCM and discuss potential cooperation between Spain, China, and international education partners, particularly in transnational education, industry–education collaboration, investment promotion, business connectivity, and talent development.
ITEA and ICCCM look forward to strengthening cooperation with Spanish education institutions and exploring opportunities for the Friendship Institute Initiative in Spain.
