On 3 October 2024, ITEA, in collaboration with five institutions, successfully organized the first e-commerce webinar titled E-Commerce and Management Powerhouse Summit. This webinar attracted an audience of over 200 participants, comprising professionals and students from various institutions, organizations, and the private sector.
The webinar featured a distinguished lineup of experts in e-commerce, including Ms. Zaidah Binti Abdul Aziz and Ms. A. Thilagavathy (C.A) from Politeknik Ungku Omar (PUO); Dr. Carmencita R. Briones from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM); Mr. Rabhi Fathan Muhammad from Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang (UNSIKA); Dr. Viktoria Sukhacheva from Saint-Petersburg University of Management Technologies and Economics (UMTE); and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gulzhaina Kassymova from Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University (Abai KazNPU).
The session commenced with opening remarks from Dato’ Siow Chen Pin, Chief Advisor of the International Cultural Communication Center Malaysia (ICCCM). This webinar served as an invaluable platform for the esteemed speakers to share their insights on various aspects of e-commerce and management. Each speaker provided unique perspectives on how digital transformation is reshaping industries, with a particular emphasis on the educational sector. A significant focus of the discussions was the commitment to adopting e-invoicing solutions, which can enhance operational efficiency and promote financial transparency within educational institutions.
