The delegation from Guangdong Polytechnic of Environmental Protection Engineering successfully conducted an official visit to Malaysia from 20–23 July 2026, marking a significant step towards strengthening international collaboration between China and Malaysia in education, research, industry engagement, and cultural exchange.
During the visit, the delegation engaged with leading educational institutions including Han Culture Centre Malaysia, ICCCM, UniKL MIIT, Politeknik Sultan Idris Shah, and City University Malaysia, Cyberjaya Campus. A key highlight was the inauguration of the Friendship Institute at PSIS, symbolising a shared commitment to fostering deeper academic partnerships and people-to-people connections between both countries.
The delegation also visited CNPCBGP and MICTOOX to explore opportunities for industry-academia collaboration, knowledge sharing, talent development, and future cooperation in technical and professional education.
This visit provided a valuable platform for discussions on student and staff mobility, joint teaching and research initiatives, credit transfer pathways, and cross-cultural engagement, further strengthening the long-standing friendship and educational ties between China and Malaysia.
