On 7 April, the International Cultural Communication Center Malaysia, serving as the Secretariat of the International Transnational Education Association (ITEA), proudly marked the signing of a milestone agreement with the National Quality Assurance Agency for Education under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan (NQAAE).

Building on the strong and ever-growing China–Uzbekistan partnership rooted in the legacy of the Silk Road and strengthened under the Belt and Road Initiative, this collaboration focuses on the joint development of professional and curriculum standards in Uzbekistan. By integrating China’s extensive experience in higher and vocational education with Uzbekistan’s national development priorities, the partnership aims to enhance education quality assurance, strengthen talent development, and support key sectors such as engineering, digital economy, and TVET.

This milestone reflects a shared commitment to advancing cross-border educational standards, fostering deeper people-to-people connections, and contributing to sustainable development across Central Asia.
