On 7 April, the International Cultural Communication Center Malaysia (ICCCM), which also serves as the Secretariat of the International Transnational Education Association (ITEA), proudly marked the signing of a milestone agreement and strategic partnership involving the National Quality Assurance Agency for Education under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan (NQAAE).
Through ICCCM’s role as ITEA Secretariat, this collaboration also reflects a broader institutional partnership under the International Transnational Education Association framework.
Building on the strong and ever-growing China–Uzbekistan partnership rooted in the legacy of the Silk Road and strengthened under the Belt and Road Initiative, this initiative focuses on the joint development of professional and curriculum standards in Uzbekistan. By integrating China’s extensive experience in higher and vocational education with Uzbekistan’s national development priorities, the partnership aims to enhance education quality assurance, strengthen talent development, and support key sectors such as engineering, digital economy, and TVET.
This milestone reflects a shared commitment to advancing cross-border educational standards, fostering deeper people-to-people connections, and contributing to sustainable development across Central Asia.
