On 25 June 2026, Guizhou Technological College of Ecology and Energy and Universitas Sumatera Utara (Indonesia) successfully conducted a Virtual Signing and Inaugural Ceremony, signifying the official commencement of a collaborative partnership between the two institutions.
The event began with an opening ceremony, followed by welcome speeches from Mr. Li Zhengping, President of Guizhou Technological College of Ecology and Energy, and Prof. Dr. Poppy Anjelisa Z. Hasibuan, Vice Rector I of Universitas Sumatera Utara. Both leaders reaffirmed their shared commitment to fostering academic excellence, international engagement, and sustainable institutional cooperation.
The ceremony continued with the Virtual Signing Ceremony and Inaugural Ceremony, symbolizing the establishment of a formal partnership that will encourage academic exchanges, collaborative programmes, and future educational initiatives between China and Indonesia.
To further enrich the event, participants attended a Floral Arrangement Art Session presented by Ms. Zhou Wenjuan, showcasing the importance of cultural appreciation as part of international collaboration.
The programme concluded with an interactive Question and Answer session, followed by the completion of feedback and attendance forms.
This partnership reflects the mutual vision of both institutions to strengthen international cooperation, promote knowledge exchange, and create greater opportunities for students and faculty through cross-border academic collaboration.
