Sepang, 4 December 2024 – The Tripartite Engagement Session (Outcome) 2024 and the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Exchange Ceremony, organized by the Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran (JPK), marked a significant milestone with the signing of four MoUs, including one with the International Cultural Communication Center Malaysia (ICCCM), our main secretariat of International Transnational Education Association (ITEA).
The event, officiated by YBhg. Datuk Azman bin Mohd Yusof, Ketua Setiausaha, Kementerian Sumber Manusia (KESUMA), took place at Sama-Sama Hotel KLIA, Sepang, Selangor.
During the session, Ts. Zuleah Binti Darsong, Ketua Pengarah Pembangunan Kemahiran, presented a summary of key findings from five strategic zones across Malaysia. These insights aim to align TVET graduates’ skills with industry needs, focusing on future high-income job opportunities while adhering to the Dasar TVET Negara 2030. This reflects a strategic approach to addressing challenges in technology, skills, and employment transitions over the next five years.
Representing ICCCM, Ms. Nicy Bai, Chairperson, signed the MoU, signaling the organization’s commitment to contributing to Malaysia’s Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) landscape. The partnership aims to strengthen cultural communication skills in alignment with advancing technologies and evolving workforce demands under the Dasar TVET Negara 2030.
This collaboration positions ICCCM as a key player in the initiative to prepare Malaysia’s workforce for challenges in the Fourth Industrial Revolution while fostering global competitiveness through cultural and skill-based training.
