On 3 September, we had our very first meeting with the the Islamic University of Kenya (IUK). After an introductory session, we discussed the possibility of collaborating on a number of different initiatives, including establishing a Friendship Institute, carrying out joint research and publications, student mobility to Malaysia, and capacity building in the IT field.

Both sides believe this could be the beginning of an impactful academic partnership, particularly for education in Africa.
