On 11 May, an online meeting was successfully held with University of Hargeisa with participation from Mr. Abdiqathar Rashid Kulmie (Coordinator, Partnerships and External Relations) and Mr. Awil Ahmed Mohamed (Acting Dean, College of Engineering, Computing and ICT).
The discussion focused on strengthening academic cooperation and exploring potential areas of collaboration under FLST and international partnership frameworks, including Friendship Institute initiatives across three key areas of study: Medicine & Health Sciences, Agriculture & Veterinary, and Engineering & Computer Science. Both parties also discussed Visiting Lecturer programmes, the ITEA Scholar programme, international internship opportunities for students abroad, and additional joint project implementation possibilities.
