24 July 2026 marked the closing ceremony of the two-week long international mobility programme- Russia’s Inbound Tourism: Specialities and Opportunities 2.0, jointly organised with the Russian Centre for Science and Culture.
The programme was part of efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between Malaysia and Russia, especially through students who will be part of the workforce of the future.
Among the esteemed guests and organizing members who presented rousing closing speeches were Mr Aleksei Sapozhenkov– Minister-Counsellor & Deputy Head of Mission from the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Malaysia, Ms Ekaterina Evgrafova– Representative of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russian Federation, Ms Loo Hui Ann– Managing Director of ITEA, Dr. Syafizwan Nizam Bin Mohd Faroque– Deputy Director of the Department of Polytechnic and Community College Education, MOHE (JPPKK), Mr Ilya Gurgutsov– Lecturer representing MalaysiaOnline.Travel, Mr Andrey Potemkin and Ms Asiyat Tarchokova– Director & Deputy Director of the Russian Centre for Science and Culture in Kuala Lumpur
