On 22 September 2026, Guangzhou Health Science College and Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University (KazNMU) held the opening ceremony of the “Chinese + Vocational Skills” training programme, marking a new initiative to strengthen vocational education and international academic exchange between China and Kazakhstan.
The ceremony featured speeches by Guangzhou Health Science College Vice President Mr. Yang Chong and KazNMU Vice-Rector Ms. Kaidarova Dilyara Radikovna.
The training programme included specialised sessions on First Aid Nursing Skills and Fundamental Nursing Skills, delivered by experienced educators from Guangzhou Health Science College. The sessions covered practical nursing competencies and professional knowledge, supporting participants in developing relevant vocational skills.
The initiative highlights the importance of combining language learning with professional skills development while promoting greater collaboration in vocational education between China and Kazakhstan.
